Braving bad weather in the States, Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell had to be rushed straight from the airport to make the Australian premiere of their new movie "Get Smart" on Sunday night (June 22).
According to press reports, "(Anne and Steve's) plane arrived at Coolangatta airport with barely enough time to make the red carpet walk at Movie World on the Gold Coast. But they were both in good humor and charmed the waiting line of fans upon arrival."
"It was great. I got to see all of the sights of the Gold Coast from the sky," Hathaway, who wore a lovely red Zac Posen dress, told of the trip.
"It is good to wear red when you are really tired and jetlagged because it brightens things up," she said of her outfit.
"Get Smart", which opened in the States on Friday (June 20), tells the story of "Maxwell Smart, Agent 86 for CONTROL, who battles the forces of KAOS with the more-competent Agent 99 at his side."
