With the summer season just around the corner, 20th Century Fox just released a teaser trailer for the upcoming wedding comedy “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.”

The first installment of “Pitch Perfect” raked in a respectable $65 million in domestic ticket sales back in 2012, so everyone was a bit shocked when “Pitch Perfect 2” earned a whopping $70.3 million during this past weekend’s opening run!
The Elizabeth Banks-directed musical comedy beat out the highly-anticipated “Mad Max: Fury Road,” which opened with $44.4 million, as well as “Avengers: Age of Ultron” ($38.8 million), “Hot Pursuit” ($5.8 million) and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” ($3.6 million).
She’s been hard at work promoting “Pitch Perfect 2” and on Tuesday night (May 12) Anna Kendrick paid a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” for an egg-stra fun encounter.
The “Twilight Saga: New Moon” babe was looking fine in a black ensemble as announcer Steve Higgins laid out the rules for Egg Russian Roulette- “Here in my hand I have one dozen eggs. Eight of them have been hard boiled; four of them are still raw, uncooked, untainted by fire. You and Anna are to select one egg at a time - una ovum - and smash them upon the top of your head. You won’t know which eggs are raw and which eggs are not but once you choose, you may not un-choose: you must smash that egg upon your head. First one to smash two raw eggs on their heads loses.”
Her new movie “Pitch Perfect 2” is already getting all kinds of pre-release buzz and Anna Kendrick is featured on the front of the June 2015 issue of Glamour magazine.
The “Twilight Saga: New Moon” actress tells the publication that she’s just like everyone else despite her high-profile career- “I live in the same kind of house as everybody else. I drive the same kind of car. I eat the same kind of food. Although I am making a superior carrot soup lately! I didn’t feel I was extraordinary in terms of looks or academia. I was like, Well, I can take a joke and I can make one too.”
The “Twilight Saga: New Moon” star flashes a flirty smile as she poses up a storm for the popular women’s publication, though she admitted that being in front of the camera is always tough- “Every year that goes by, I think that my on-camera smile is going to get easier. ...And it's got worse and worse, to the point where I'm giving that Britney Spears terrified smile, where the lips are upturned, but there's nothing but fear in the eyes.”
