Given all that she’s accomplished, both personally and professionally, it’s only natural that Angelina Jolie is the honored recipient of WSJ Magazine’s Entertainment/Film Innovator of the Year award.
In her cover story for the November 2015 issue, the “Girl, Interrupted” gal chats about her new movie “By the Sea” in which she starred alongside husband Brad Pitt as well as served as director- “It was not easy. We just had to be brave and say, ‘OK, honey, we’re strong enough to do this; let’s somehow use this to make us stronger.’”
They’re two of the hottest actors of their generation, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were in the house at the Directors Guild of America Theater in Manhattan last night (November 3) to screen their new movie “By the Sea.”
The married costars were in good spirits as they posed for photos ahead of the premiere, with Angelina sporting a pretty pale blue dress while Pitt picked a tweed blazer.
Her new film “By the Sea” is slated to hit theaters on November 13th, and Angelina Jolie talked with Vogue about working with (and directing) her husband Brad Pitt.
The “Changeling” chick explained, "It's not autobiographical. Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn't have made the film. It was our honeymoon.”
It’s one of the most-anticipated projects of the year, and “By the Sea” has released a new trailer ahead of its November 13, 2015 release date.
The forthcoming flick was written, directed and produced by Angelina Jolie, who also stars alongside her handsome hubby Brad Pitt as well as Melanie Laurent, Niels Arestrup, Melvil Poupaud and Richard Bohringer.
