Ahead of next week's trailer premiere, the 27-year-old actor dished about his role in the comic book flick, explaining why he found it so easy to transition into his new role, "I related to Peter Parker so much because I felt like someone else inside," he says of Spider-Man's alter ego. "I loved the comic books and the animated TV series and I even dressed up as Spider-Man as a kid."
The movie's director, Mar Webb, also chimed in about he super-hero reboot, telling, "Ultimately, what this movie is about is a kid who grows up looking for his father and finds himself. And that's a Spider-Man story we haven't seen before."
Also revealed in the interview was the man behind the Lizard, aka Spidey's nemesis - which will be fronted by "Pirate Radio" star Rhys Ifans.
