Andrew Garfield Nabs Spider-Man Role

Landing quite the career-boosting role, it's being reported that Andrew Garfield will be the next Spider-Man.

Taking over for Tobey Maguire, who backed out of the hit series after three films, Garfield assumes the role while trying to become a big time star at the young age of 26-years-old.

To be directed by Marc Webb, production will begin at the end of 2010 with a slated release date of July 3, 2012.

Of choosing Mr Garfield, Webb told press, “Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit, and humanity.”
