Taking care of some media duties, Amy Adams showed up at “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” last night (February 7).
The “Julie and Julia” starlet looked gorgeous as she talked with Leno about her forthcoming Superman flick “Man of Steel,” slated to hit theaters on June 14th, 2013.
Amy began, "I'm so excited. You're going to love it. [Costar] Henry [Cavill] is amazing. I was really into the movies and Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. I really wanted to be Lois because I thought Superman was just awesome. I didn't think I was going to be an actress playing Lois, I just wanted to be Lois Lane."
Leno noted that Superman’s disguise has always been merely a pair of glasses, and yet Lois never figured it out. Ms. Adams replied, “It’s so funny, because I always loved how smart she was, and as an adult I’m like, ‘How smart was she actually that she didn’t notice that.’”
