Bringing her soulful style to a totally different venture, Alicia Keys was named BlackBerry's Global Creative Director on Wednesday (January 30).
At the BlackBerry 10 launch, the "Girl on Fire" star explained, "I was in a long-term relationship with BlackBerry, then I noticed hotter, more attractive sexier phones at the gym. So I broke up with you for a while. I missed the way you organised my life, so I carried two phones and played the field a bit. But then you gave me a call, told me you'd been working out. Now I'm happy to announce we're exclusively dating again!"
Sharing her thoughts on the new device, the 32-year-old said she'll use the Z10 to shoot music videos during her tour to "capture sights, sounds, and fans of every city that I visit."
Joining Ms. Keys as artistic partners are director Robert Rodriguez and author Neil Gaiman. Announcing her new role on Twitter, she tweeted, "Excited2jump right in2my new role as Global Creative Director of@Blackberry! #BlackBerry10 #keepmoving #forwardthinking."
