Coming off a successful evening at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Awards, George Clooney and Ben Affleck happily arrived at the AFI Awards on Friday afternoon (January 11).
The “Argo” co-producers chatted with their fellow industry pals at the semi-casual Four Seasons Hotel event after winning Best Picture at last night’s affair.
Ben and George’s film is one of the ten productions honored at this year’s event, which recognizes “excellence in the moving image arts within the context of a Year in Review.”
Other filmed on the list include “Les Miserables,” “Beasts of the Southern Wild,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” and “Django Unchained.”
According to Bob Gazzale, the CEO and President of AFI, “AFI AWARDS celebrates America’s storytellers as collaborators. We are honored to bring together artists as a community, without competition, to acknowledge the gifts they have given the world in 2012.”
