Mick Jagger wanted to produce a Casino-style movie based on the music business, ending up with hot new TV series "Vinyl".
The show, starring Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde and Ray Romano, debuted on American TV on Sunday (14Feb16), hitting British screens a day later. The much hyped "Vinyl" is the brain child of Rolling Stones legend Mick, director Martin Scorsese and writers Terence Winter and Rich Cohen.
They never seem to slow down, and The Rolling Stones are gearing up to hit the road in Europe for a whopping 14-concert run called 14 On Fire.
Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ron will begin their trek on May 26th in Norway and hit Italy, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Holland, France and Germany before wrapping things up in Denmark on July 3rd.
It’s been a devastating week for Mick Jagger since news broke of his longtime girlfriend L’Wren Scott’s suicide, and the Rolling Stones singer just posted a message to his fans via Facebook to share his thoughts.
The “Sympathy For the Devil” rocker wrote, "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.”
He has been called “Frontman,” “Your Majesty,” and “Brenda.” And now Mick Jagger can look forward to a brand new title: “Great Grandfather!”
At age 70, the Rolling Stones lead singer, although excited for his granddaughter Assisi's pregnancy, is most likely NOT going to be slowing down any time soon, as the band goes on tour in Australia in 2014.
