Kristen Stewart is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga: Twilight, New Moon, & Eclipse. Recently starred in The Runaways. Kristen Stewart is currently dating costar Robert Pattinson.
She loves taking on new challenges, and Kristen Stewart told Yahoo! Movies that although she’s never been in a Marvel or DC Comics movie, she’d be willing to consider it.
The “Twilight Saga: New Moon” actress explained, “I love watching those movies. I would love to show people that I can do more than just be ‘Kristen Stewart’ in a different movie, in a different circumstance. I’m sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean? It would just have to be the right thing.”
Taking care of some media duties, Kristen Stewart paid a visit to “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Thursday evening (January 15).
The “Snow White and the Huntsman” stunner was in the house to plug her new movie “Still Alice,” though she ended up discussing her career plans, or lack thereof. Meyers asked Kristen about her future plans, to which she replied, “After Still Alice? I don’t know. None of your business! I say that very fondly.”
Making the most of her time in Manhattan, Kristen Stewart strolled over to the Autumn 2015 show from Stella McCartney on Monday (January 12). The “Snow White and the Huntsman” hottie wore a menswear-inspired getup as she mingled with fellow attendees including Ms. McCartney herself.
Meanwhile, Kristen told USA Today that she is gearing up for an extended vacation from making films- “I'm taking some time off because I've been working for two years. I’m an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create.”
Kicking off the week with some media duties, Kristen Stewart stopped by the “Today” show this morning (January 5). Joined by partner-in-crime Julianne Moore, the “Snow White and the Huntsman” actress discussed her new film “Still Alice” about a woman with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
Kristen explained, “I think I found aspects of myself within this part that I hadn’t had a reason to discover. I can stand in something so grotesquely horrendous, and actually see the good in something, and try and see the light, and I didn’t know that I had that.”
She’s always up for a challenge and Kristen Stewart had a marvelous time making “Still Alice” despite the emotional subject matter. In the flick, the “Twilight” actress plays a daughter helping her mother cope with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease, and Kristen drew on her own experience with a family friend who “was clearly in a severe state of dementia. She had clearly lost parts of herself and what remained was very desperate to connect.”
Stewart explained that the task seemed less daunting knowing that Julianne Moore would play her mother. “I also knew I could do it with [Moore] because I’ve known her for a couple years. I knew I could be her kid. I just knew that everything was going to be honest and right. We weren’t making anything up, so it would be heavy.”
