Amanda Peet fears she is losing out on roles to younger actresses because she is scared to have cosmetic surgery.
In an essay titled Never Crossing The Botox Rubicon for Lena Dunham's "Lenny" newsletter, the actress explains that while she cares about her looks, she is too scared to cross the line into Botox and fillers.
Last week she jetted to Turks and Caicos after her co-host Michael Strahan made the surprise announcement that he’s jumping ship for a job at “Good Morning America” and finally today (April 26) Kelly Ripa resumed her tenure at “Live” looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
As the show opened, the beautiful blonde shared, "Guys, guys guys, guys – our long national nightmare is over. Look, I am fairly certain that there are trained professional snipers with tranquilizer darts in case I drift too far off message. I want to honestly and sincerely thank you for welcoming me back to the show, the show of support to this bizarre time has been over welcome. I needed a couple of days to gather my thoughts. After 26 years with this company I earned the right. ... In that time I gained some perspective. I always speak from the heart so I didn't want to come out here and say something I regret."
