Given the many hats she wears on a daily basis, Drew Barrymore maintains her sanity by staying centered on her family duties first. In her cover story for the Fourth of July issue of Hamptons magazine, the “E.T.” actress discusses what balance looks like for her.
Drew declares, “It’s definitely challenging, but I really compartmentalize my time. Number one, it’s my kids. For me, waking up with them every day, having free days with them, working from home a lot, getting to do dinner, bath, and bed, is everything. My weekends are with them. I spend so much time with them that I’m actually excited when I get to step out of the house and go to a meeting. And then, things have to fall off the table. Sometimes it does seem overwhelming, but you just prioritize. You know you can’t do everything. You choose your battles. If you’re being the kind of person you want to be— which for me is a parent first—then you get excited about stepping away here and there and focusing on some other things. All of these businesses, as time consuming as they are, they let me be the kind of parent I want to be.”
Never afraid to expose her birthday suit, Miley Cyrus is giving fans another look at her lady pillows in the latest issue of V Magazine.
The “Party in the USA” songstress is also making headlines today for making out with her girlfriend, Victoria’s Secret Model Stella Maxwell, in the parking lot of The Palm in Los Angeles earlier this week.
