It’s no secret that he’s in some pretty big financial trouble, and now 50 Cent is accusing his creditors of making him their slave by forcing him to pay off $30 million of debt.
According to his bankruptcy protection case, the “In Da Club” rapper (real name Curtis Jackson) states that the plan suggested by his creditors is “tantamount to slavery or involuntary servitude,” a practice made illegal by the 13th Amendment back in 1865.
Carrying on their apparent rap feud, 50 Cent took shots at Meek Mill via social media over the weekend in response to Mill’s diss track.
Making reference to Meek’s lady Nicki Minaj, the “In Da Club” hitmaker posted photos of his nemesis with captions like, "LMAO Hey s*** head, your career is already over... You better focus on getting Nicki pregnant so you can at least get child support girl. new meek emoji lol.”
His recent money problems are well-documented, and now 50 Cent is looking to collect from longtime rival Rick Ross for allegedly ripping off his hit song “In Da Club” by placing it on a mix tape last month.
The financially-challenged rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, filed a two million dollar lawsuit in federal bankruptcy court in Connecticut on Wednesday (December 23), stating, "'In Da Club' is an iconic song that enhanced Jackson's fame and fueled the celebrity status he holds today.”
